The North Carolina Moratorium Now Campaign needed the support of the people to urge their State Assembly to
pass legislation. Approximately 150,000 calls were made resulting in a flood of calls to State Representatives
across the state.

In the last days of the election, a targeted phone campaign was implemented on behalf of Debra Ross. The calls were
timed to compliment her direct mail campaign. Voter turnout in all targeted precincts was up by double digits.
